School Profile / Mission: Salesian High School is a full-time Catholic day school, established by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, suthorized by the State of California, and dedicated to the education and empowerment of young people in East Los Angeles. The schools mission is to produce productive young men who will assume leadership roles in the community. The school offers the humanistic and holistic approach to education characterized by the followers of John Bosco. For the past year, Salesian has given critically at-risk students the opportunita to grow in knowledge, values, and leadership. Out ultimate goal is to be the premier high school in East Los Angeles producing leaders for the twenty-first century.
